Random youtube. Cheetahmen II NES Release Rant
For those who can't read the text (I admit, that's my fault), here's the whole thing summed up in a blob of text: "Hello, everyone. I've decided that I was going to discuss something that's been bugging me since I first saw the video on the Angry Video Game Nerd's YouTube channel promoting the Kickstarter project that is releasing a fixed Cheetahmen II for the NES. Now, guys, keep this in mind: This is how I feel about the whole thing in general, so if you must leave a comment, please leave one of the constructive kind ONLY. With that said, let's begin. First off, the way I see it, this project's whole purpose is to give Cheetahmen II a second chance. How so? By fixing the glitches that render the game virtually unplayable, of course. I can see that some would rather play a ROM version of that instead. However, game ROMs are illegal. No, those alone won't get you caught, but regardless of that, they're still considered a crime to copyright. Second, the reason the goal price is $65K is because fixing the glitches, storing the data into the cartidge, etc. is a very costly and risky business. To them, the money from the donations is necessary to put into this project, because let's face it. They do need your help to make the restoration a reality. Thirdly, some people don't seem to understand that Cheetahmen II, while being a shitty game, is a part of gaming history. In fact, every game that has ever been released contributes to the history of video games. I am so sick of ... ~ autobot (by youtube user: QueenVoltalia)
Random youtube. RARE GAME!!! CHEETAHMEN II !!! FOR NES!!!
I HAVE SEEN SOME VIDEOS OF CHEETAHMEN II, BUT NEVER FROM A NES!!! ONE OF THE WORST GAMES, BUT VERY RARE EDIT I send a picture of the feedback of the sale, is real www.subirimagenes.com Game: There were plans for a sequel to The Cheetahmen. Although mostly completed, Cheetahmen II was ultimately left officially unreleased. However, in 1997 all 1500 known copies of the game were located in a warehouse, and eventually put on sale on the secondary market. All copies of the game were reused Action 52 cartridges with some having a small gold sticker reading "Cheetahmen II". The cartridge is very hard to come by, though numerous ROM images exist on the Internet. In Cheetahmen II the player assumes the role of one of the three Cheetahmen (Aries, Apollo and Hercules), and upon defeating an enemy boss at the end of the second level, they switch to the next Cheetahman for the following two levels as in the Action 52 version. Due to a bug, it is impossible to gain access to the levels in which one assumes the role of Cheetahman Aries without altering the ROM image or being the lucky recipient of a glitch that very rarely starts the game on these two levels. Cheetahmen II is famous for its music and its lack of quality in all other domains; it is reputed by many in the gaming community to be nearly unplayable, and was rumored to have been produced extremely quickly, with no debugging attempted. Like Action 52, it was not licensed by Nintendo. I FOUND OTHER GAMES AND I WANT TO SELL ... ~ autobot (by youtube user: yiyonpunx)
Random youtube. Cheetahmen II (NES) Lost Levels No Death Play Through on Actual Cartridge
these are the two of the hardest to find, most obscure levels in NES video game history. great thanks to youtube user @DeLorean45. her video shows how i accessed these levels. i am using an actual cartridge, like she was, for this recording. basically, in order to access these levels, you start the game in your nes console and repeatedly mash on the "reset" button until the game starts on "Level 3". from my personal experience, i have started the game from Level 4 (2nd level of the big cheetahman), Level 5 (the level this video starts on), Level 6 (2nd level of this video with the final boss at the end), and an incredibly glitched version of Level 6. the last incident looked almost identical to the youtube video showing off the missing levels using an emulator. the life bar went all the way across the screen and the music was choppy. please visit the website i am working on. worldminusone.net here is a link to my current NES collection worldminusone.net thank you for watching! ~ autobot (by youtube user: BlastGnar)

Random youtube. Cheetahmen II TAS in 2:23
Often heralded as the worst game ever made (although the music is rather catchy, and the Japanese agree!). Active Enterprises had their eyes set on the world when they made this title. Goes to show that megalomania is nothing without something substantial. I made this TAS in mid 2005 mainly as a gag. I don't think it turned out too terribly bad, but the low quality of the title caused the TASVideos community to reject it. Encoded and uploaded since Lorenzo the Comic took his own encode down for reasons unexplained. ~ autobot (by youtube user: FerretWarlord1)

Random youtube. CheetahMen II - Complete Playthrough (All 6 levels) - Bugfixed ROM
This game is infamous because it's one of the worst games ever made. It's full of all sorts of glitches and it's extremely hard because of it's glitched gameplay. The game couldn't even be finished. However, it's a very rare collector's item and can be found for more than $1000. ApeMan, the boss at the second level disappears if he leaves the screen, and if you beat him, it also disappears, so you get stuck at that level and it's impossible to go through the last two levels. Level two boss can disappear in some circunstances. And if you played an old hacked rom of this game and played the last two levels, the final boss dissapears too and it's impossible to finish the game. But I fixed all this issues, and now it can be completed. No more enemies disappearing, all levels load correctly, and no annoying level number glitch (levels 4, 5 and 6 were called level 3). I've used an infinite health hack because I suck at this game. You can download the hacked version here: www.megaupload.com ~ autobot (by youtube user: PacoChan)
